INSTRUCTORS

Andrea Vincent (Women’s RunFit instructor) is the Founder of non-profit seeMOMMYrun (www.seeMOMMYrun.com), a free resource to help women find/start running groups in their neighborhoods.  seeMOMMYrun has grown to 46,000+ mom members since 2005.  She has been a competitive runner for 15 years.  Andrea began helping other women meet their fitness and running goals three years ago after becoming an IFPA Certified Women’s Fitness Specialist and a NESTA Women’s Running Coach.  Andrea has competed in more than forty running races of all distances, four triathlons, six duathlons, three marathons including the 2008 Boston Marathon where she re-qualified for Boston .  Most recently Andrea became a Certified Spencer Pilates Instructor in order to provide the best core strength training for all of her trainees.

 

Andrea Webb (Flow Yoga instructor) holds a nationally recognized yoga instruction certification and a certification in group exercise instruction from DeAnza College, CA . She is also CPR/First Aid Certified. Over the past 15 years Andrea has taught aerobics, tennis, strength training and yoga to adults and children.  Yoga is her passion.  Andrea feels strongly about the positive mind and body healing effects, balance, and strengthening yoga provides to people of all fitness levels.

 

Kathy Lafreniere (Intense-City Fit instructor) and her husband are the owners of Capital Jiu Jitsu (www.gracieva.com) which offers mixed martial arts and elite fitness training to adults and kids.  She believes that a balance of attentive instruction and controlled yet-intense-training is the best way to achieve physical fitness. Kathy trains and is very knowledgeable about CrossFit, running, swimming, nutrition, and triathlon training.  She has a Group Fitness/Bootcamp Certification through the American Sports and Fitness Association.  Kathy is also a certified teacher for grades K-12 and has a graduate level teaching license. In January 2010 Kathy will be a Certified CrossFit Instructor.
